Professional Experience Summary

For 5 years, Kit Forshee managed an outstanding team of data modelers/data engineers/data architects/.NET developers for Progress Rail, A Caterpillar Company. Using Profisee, our enterprise master data management application, we have provided solutions integrating with six (6) different ERP instances (SAP, Infor LN, MS D365, Dynamics AX) globally, along with other applications (Salesforce.com, Active Directory, PeopleSoft, Sage, K2, Orion, MS SCCM, custom applications) to centralize master data for maintenance to enable clean and accurate reporting via Cognos BI, IBM Cognos TM1, MS Power BI, and MS Excel.

We have developed integrations using Microsoft Visual Studio SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to migrate data to/from MS SQL and Oracle databases, as well as proprietary databases and flat files. We have automated everything to extract, transform, and load (ETL) on various frequencies using Windows Batch Files executed by Windows Task Scheduler.

We have developed custom workflows to facilitate real-time notifications, approvals, and bi-directional synchronization of data.

Kit also developed an IBM Cognos TM1 model bringing in inventory data (items, on-hand quantities, demand, historical consumption) from all 6 ERP instances in order to provide weekly global reporting to buyers/planners/material managers to reduce excess inventory, saving 10s of millions of dollars over 5 years.
